Calvin's story begins at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC, where he served his country, married his wife Becky, and started their family. After leaving the service in 2005, he returned to Indiana with two daughters in tow — and over the next eight years, built a career in IT while growing his family by two more.

In 2014, North Carolina called him back, and he continued his IT career there for nearly a decade. But something more meaningful was unfolding alongside him: watching Becky grow into a confident, compassionate leader at Smooth Transitions. When the chance came to join her, Calvin didn't hesitate — trading 20+ years in IT for the far more rewarding work of serving people in one of life's most significant moments.

The look on a client's face when they walk into their new home and see their most treasured belongings beautifully displayed? It turns out that's a little more fulfilling than troubleshooting VoIP call quality or hot-swapping hard drives.

When he's not helping families make their next move, Calvin is devoted to his family and faith, competing in disc golf, lifting weights, and relentlessly — if ambitiously — pursuing the perfect high-heat, home-baked pizza. He's not there yet. But he's not stopping either.
